sirnyxalotPosting this here because I know not everyone in game has discord, or plurk, or has me added in either, and I'd like to have it open for anyone who'd like to use it in their event threads.
During their stay in the ice palace, Nyx, Tonbokiri and anyone else who'd like to be involved are going to be finding a place to hole up in so that the whole town has a better chance of being defended and warm. This is opt-in however you want to play it.
While the whole palace is made of ice, I believe that regular fires will not be hot enough to actually melt the floor seriously enough to prevent them from keeping warm during the week. Firewood can be collected and will be necessary, and anyone else with the ability to create or manipulate fire in any way will probably be asked to assist. This can either be handwaved or threaded out with any of the "leaders" that would go around and try to get things organized, ie. the defense crew.
Pets are allowed to be brought with (though not required so we don't have to worry about any of the smallest or harmless ones from being frozen :( ).
What this means regarding Nyx's tiny collection:
Chocobob, a seagreen adult chocobo, will be available to anyone that would like to have her in your thread. She's incredibly friendly and open to being a warm cuddle buddy, and can even rescue a citizen from a knight if you'd like. She's familiar with most citizens in town and used to being out in the forest with all it's weirdness. Please feel free to have her in your threads, no need to consult with me beforehand. She can come in handy to stay warm.
Rahm, the young coeurl kitten he rescued, is too small yet to be much use for cuddling, and is still tense around those she's not familiar with. While she might not be mentioned in my threads, she will almost always be winding around Nyx's legs, or trying to eat the snowflake knights.
Anyone else have plans that could be useful or affect the gamewide group that can be shared?
