Mod Post. 3/3/19
Hello everyone, and welcome to March's monthly mod post, and happy anniversary! Please be sure to read all of this post -- we've got a few different things in store for this month

If there are any questions, please ask them here, so that we don’t miss any. Thank you, everyone!
Mechanics
Plot
- First off, AC has completed and has been processed. AC is now open for March. March's AC Post can be found here.
- Characters removed via AC this month:
- Nyx Ulric (sirnyxalot)
Momose (rerevale)
Tsunayoshi Sawada (goeshyper)- Applications are currently open. There are 24 slots for incoming new players. They will close March 7th, 9 PM EST. Current players can submit an app for a second character at any time during this period, regardless of the player cap.
- We're currently working on setting up a page for player-run character resources (such as the Notice Board and the Defense Force); when that has been properly set up, we'll announce it. We hope that it will serve as a good place to gather helpful information for all of the players in the game that is currently being handled by other players. If there are any suggestions or requests on how you would like to see that laid out, please don't hesitate to let us know!
Quests
- Due to the efforts of a group of characters in the game, the forest seems to have been...stalled. It hasn't been pushed back, not completely, but it doesn't seem to be advancing further. For now, it will remain there, with the same side-effects as it had last month if too much time is spent near it.
- As ever in intro months, this month's plot will come in two parts -- there will be a smaller event to go along with the intro log, and then a more full-fledged event at the end of the month.
Color Changes/Rewards
- Quests for March are now up! The OOC breakdown of said quests can be found below, as with last month. All quests have been posted ICly to the Quest Forum Post. Only quests for this month can be turned in for a reward.
- The Quest Reporting comment can be found here. As ever, please respond to that comment once the quest itself has been completed. When reporting the quest, please state what quest it is in the subject line; we've realized that that helps us a lot with keeping track over the past few months!
- Please be aware that Quests must be reported by the end of the month; this is because we use what quests are completed to keep track of what colors are restored for the next month!
This month’s color changes are as follows (color changes can be tracked at the Color Timeline):
Color Gains:
- For completing all of the quests last month, characters have restored the color of sea foam. Hmm... maybe the next target for colors is the harbor and ocean beyond?
- If your character has a color log thread from the month of February, please go here to see what your character restored!
Color Losses:
- From drops: Ketchup, Brussel sprouts, arrow shafts, chickens, church altar, satyr, brandy, nutmeg, chestnuts, spiders, black chickens, acorns, library shelves, lobsters, butterflies
If there are any questions, please ask them here, so that we don’t miss any. Thank you, everyone!

Akechi's memory is of a young man of the blue district. This young man tries hard to be friendly with all that he meets, tries so hard to fit in, but no matter where he goes...there are whispers. Whispers of how he's a bastard child. Of how nobody knows who his true father is. Of how he might turn out just like his unknown father --
And bit by bit, the boy's smile disappears, shoulders hunched, as he spends more and more time by the woods, away from the others who don't understand him.
Akira's memory is of a father. The father has a single daughter, one he loves dearly, who he clearly will do anything for. but one day, there's a knock at his door, and at his door there are the members of the Town hall. They take him into custody, despite his arguments, his claims that he's entirely innocent. Nonetheless, they say he's guilty of his crime -- assault -- and that he must be tried for it.
And at the window is his young daughter, watching with wide, teary eyes as her father is taken away.
